Summary

A page view count function should be added at the bottom of each page in the format "This page has been viewed 　　 times." or "This page has been viewed 　　 times in the past 30 days." or "This page is viewed 　　 times per day on average."

This makes it easier for editors to follow the pages that are more popular than others and focus on them primarily (expansion, article issues etc.).

If needed, a list of all popular pages under a certain category can be made which provides good reference to contributors to articles in this discipline. Currently many WikiProjects rely on this tool to manually test and summarise to make list of all the most-hit pages in the project which is physically exhausting.
