Summary

Wikipedia should develop a highly reliable version of itself edited and approved by top encyclopedists from each project during next five years. Time for growing is over. Now the time for improving has come.'

Wikipedia's contributors edit and add content. Wikipedia is already reliable by many standards see wikipedia reliability http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_reliability.

Proposal

Creating a "Wikipedia+" webs where only reliable information will be stored and edited by only reliable people, top encyclopedists and experts in their fields.

--- I propose to make active efforts in the wikipedia page to better the population's idea of wikipedia's reliablity. Many of my teachers and classmate discredit wikipedia without understanding how reliable it really is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_reliability.

Motivation

To make the Wikipedia the best of the bests.

Key Questions

  • Do people want a 100% reliable source of information?
  • Does Wikipedia contain enough reliable information to use only it?

Potential Costs

Relatively large (tens of per cent) of highly skilled wikipedists won't have so much time to improve current Wikipedia. On the other hand, many of these will surely welcome a new goal.
