Proposals I started
- Geonotice improvements (although I'm far from the first to think this would be a good idea)
- Real-time chat - Integrated social networking functions and real-time communication channels
- Sponsor a "Wikipedia loves Threadless" design challenge - we need good t-shirt designs
- Host a microblogging service - Integrate something like identi.ca into the Wikimedia projects
- Add game-like features - Teach new users the ropes and give incentives to all users to complete important tasks by offering "quests"
- Proposal:Develop a copyright enforcement system - Help contributors seek redress when others use their work without respecting the free licenses
- A new open reviews project, basically a free-as-in-freedom version of Amazon.com does (coming sooner or later)
- Proposal:Tools for tracking reuse of Commons media - Automatically track where stuff from Commons is being used outside of Wikimedia
Other proposals I like
- Proposal:Keep the servers running
- Proposal:Wikischolarships
- Proposal:Less anonymity - gently encourage more use of real identities, without further restricting anonymity
- Proposal:Universal/global watchlists - I can't read the proposal itself, but the title says it all
- Proposal:Support for high resolution images - make it easier to view or download images at the resolution you want. (already possible, but not user-friendly)
- Proposal:Endow a prize
- Proposal: Make sure "Most wanted articles" is working in English and other languages
- Proposal:Integrate Melancholie's statistics
- Proposal:Assessment content
- Proposal:Implement OAuth for MediaWiki (and employ in Wikimedia)
- Proposal:Use Geonotices on larger wikipedias to promote local language pedias
- Proposal:Digital Archaeology
- Proposal:Video-format presentation of article history
- Proposal:Reward editors
