LiquidThreads is a forum tool embedded in Mediawiki. It is designed to address some of the deficiencies of wiki-as-discussion tool while also retaining many of the benefits.

In October 2009, the strategy wiki became the first production installation of LiquidThreads. The tool has evolved significantly since.
