Summary

Improve the the web based interface for the email systems used for foundation-l, wikien-l etc.

Proposal

The Wikimedia community use a series of email lists, including:

• Foundation-l
• Commons-l
• WikiEN-l
• Internal-l

These all use an archaic email system which looks about ten years old, is not easy to search or browse and doesn't handle simple things like html emails and wordwrapping. Compare the interface for Google Groups or Yahoo Groups to see the world of difference.

Motivation

Improves the ability of users to comtribute to discussions on these lists.
