I was dopey-tired when I decided to create this. If I've made a lot of obvious mistakes, please (Please!) feel free to fix. Thx. -- 203.171.196.246 16:57, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
- Something very similar to this was trialled - a bot collecting several related sources in the hope someone would turn it into a full story/article. IIRC it generated hundreds of stubs while running, and only one or two actually got turned into stories. This merits saying again, and again, "Wikinews is not Wikipedia". From the generation of that initial stub you have no more than about 48 hours to turn it into a full report. "Facts don't cease to be facts, but news ceases to be news", and except for huge events like the London transport bombings, each article is predominantly the work of one person. --Brian McNeil 10:57, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
Impact?
Some proposals will have massive impact on end-users, including non-editors. Some will have minimal impact. What will be the impact of this proposal on our end-users? -- Philippe 00:06, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
