I think that the instant editing is a good idea. The first time that people decide to participate on Wikipedia is probably to make a small simple change, and the huge amount of code they are shown is a barrier Mathewsanders 03:23, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

I'm hesitant about using a WYSIWYG editor, hopefully with an inline/instant editor people would become exposed to smaller amounts of code at a time which would make it a lower learning curve to learning the markup. Mathewsanders 03:23, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Impact?
