Might makes right?
This rather sounds like a move towards One Wikipedia Truth, determined by might, by whichever language manages to field the most and the meanest users ("One ring to rule them all ..."). As such it looks to be counter to the Verifiability principle, which emphasizes information rather than truth. - Brya 18:13, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
- Not might but those who stick to the rules of verifiability (unless you consider them might). In really, this proposal supports the verifiability principle and that's the one of the advantages. Kauczuk 21:06, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
Impact?
Some proposals will have massive impact on end-users, including non-editors. Some will have minimal impact. What will be the impact of this proposal on our end-users? -- Philippe 00:05, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- I think that it will be well perceived by end users thanks to unified look and information on participating language versions. Wikipedia could also gain more reliability. Kauczuk 20:56, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
