Proposal talk:Wikpedia Fundraising Strategy (small donations)
Impact?
Some proposals will have massive impact on end-users, including non-editors. Some will have minimal impact. What will be the impact of this proposal on our end-users? -- Philippe 00:45, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
Rename
This isn't so much a fundraising idea as a plea for rampant inclusionism. So I suggest this proposal be renamed abolish verifiability, notability and any attempt at quality control by deleting anything. WereSpielChequers 20:32, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
Can we please rename this page to something like Proposal: A Wikipedia Fundraising Strategy - Small Donations There will be other Strategy proposals for Fundraising. (See Strategy for Funding)
nail on the head
i have been mistreated by wikipedians and content removed and because of that there is no way in HELL i would give to wikipedia unless i saw some serious reform of the way things work ,and i am one of the few people i know that does give to causes.
i am also a little suspicious of where the money would go, as i've observed non-profits go crazy with spending as money comes in in the past. also, why did wikipedia (according to urban lore) turned down an offer from google for free hosting.
