Article and user feedback (narrow focus)

Article and user feedback (narrow focus)

Themes and ideas from Archive 1:
  1. Rating users may lead to focus on users and warring, or be easily gamed.
  2. Rating content seems to be agreed as important.
  3. Capturing "user knowledge in topic" is essential - allows us to see how more knowing readers assess it, and to understand its audience. (Eg: casual reader, some knowledge, good knowledge, formal qualification).
Possible approaches:
  1. Proposed axes for content - balanced (or balanced/neutral), coverage (or completeness), sources (or quality of citation), up to date (?), and "user knowledge in topic":
  2. Feedback should be via clickable bar, not popups ("rate this item!" is probably seen as "spammy")
