Capturing "user knowledge in topic" is essential - allows us to see how more knowing readers assess it, and to understand its audience. (Eg: casual reader, some knowledge, good knowledge, formal qualification).
Possible approaches:
Proposed axes for content - balanced (or balanced/neutral), coverage (or completeness), sources (or quality of citation), up to date (?), and "user knowledge in topic":
