Wikimedia does what it always did, with no major changes, expansions, outside deals, etc.

Motivation

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Wikimedia performs a great service and does it rather well. Let's consider not messing with it. Many organizations and businesses fail following ambitious expansions, deals, or facelifts. I personally don't think anything like that is necessary. The goal of sharing information globally free of charge is currently being met in the best way possible. The natural small-step evolution that comes from the community and its developers out of necessity is enough.

Key Questions

Staying the same may carry its own potential risks, such as not keeping up with people's need and not living up to full potential.

Potential Costs

None beyond those currently incurred.
